Soccer nominees Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nelsen, Dutch club Roda JC's Ivan Vicelich and New Zealand Knights captain Danny Hay are nominees for New Zealand Soccer's international player of the year.
The trio will find out who wins at a gala dinner at the North Harbour Stadium on November 25.
Nominees in other categories include Knights 19-year-old Cole Tinkler and All Whites pair Steven Old (St John's University) and Craig Wylie (Waitakere United) for the international young player of the year award.
The nominees for international women's player of the year are Simone Ferrara, Hayley Moorwood and Rebecca O'Neil.
Referee of the year nominees are Neil Fox, Michael Hester and Peter O'Leary.
Former Ireland player Terry Phelan, who won the FA Cup with Wimbledon in 1988 and appeared in two World Cups, will be a guest speaker.
