Suzanne Grant really did have the dream debut as she scored 11 goals in her first game for Motherwall Ladies FC as they beat Edinburgh South 21-0 on Sunday.
Grant, 31, has more than 100 international caps for Scotland and played for the likes of Glasgow City, Hibernian, Arsenal and Celtic in the UK.
The striker won the women's FA Cup with Arsenal in 2009 and she has an excellent track record of scoring goals wherever she's been. Even she couldn't quite believe that she managed to score 11 on her Motherwell debut and it has to go down as one of the greatest sporting debuts of all time.
"I would have been happy with one, never mind eleven so it's a great start to playing with Motherwell," said Grant.
"I don't think I've ever scored that many in a game before. I got a few assists as well but I can't remember exactly how many I got though!"
