BERN, Switzerland (AP) " FIFA bribery case suspect Eduardo Li has agreed to be extradited to the United States after more than six months in jail.
Switzerland's Justice Ministry says the former Costa Rican Football Federation president withdrew his appeal against a ruling granting his extradition.
The ministry says "no details concerning when Li will be handed over to the USA will be disclosed."
Li was arrested at the Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich on May 27, two days before he was formally to join the FIFA executive committee representing CONCACAF.
The U.S. Department of Justice indicted Li on charges of bribery, wire fraud and money laundering.
