Two goals in five minutes by Henri Camara secured Wigan Athletic a 3-2 home win over Aston Villa in this morning's English Premier League soccer match.
It was 1-1 when Camara struck for the first time in the 56th minute, Juan Pablo Angel having equalised three minutes earlier for Villa following Jimmy Bullard's first half goal for Wigan.
Camara fired home from the middle of the area to net right back Pascal Chimbonda's cross and on the hour the pair repeated the action for the striker's second.
Wigan climbed two places to eight while Villa, who pulled a goal back through Liam Ridgewell in the 67th minute, remain 15th and are still not totally safe from relegation.
Sheffield United, second in division two, could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United in their first match since securing promotion to the Premier League at the weekend.
Leeds, in fifth place, have already qualified for the four-team promotion playoffs.
