English Championship club West Bromwich has dismissed manager Bryan Robson after just eight matches.
Robson, the former Manchester United and England captain, saved the club from Premiership relegation on the last day of his first season, but was unable to repeat that feat last season.
West Brom are only five points behind joint-leaders Cardiff and Birmingham.
Robson has won 19 of his 81 matches in charge and only two away league matches.
