Leicester soccer club chairman Milan Mandaric was charged yesterday with offences involving illegal tax avoidance while he was running English Premier League club Portsmouth.
The Crown Prosecution Service alleges that Mandaric paid US$295,000 ($397,000) into a Monaco bank account to avoid paying tax and national insurance.
