LONDON - Arsenal needed two extra-time goals from Fredrik Ljungberg and Emmanuel Adebayor to beat Bolton Wanderers 3-1 in today's FA Cup fourth-round soccer replay.
The two late goals earned Arsenal a home tie with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
Arsenal, held 1-1 at home by Bolton in their first meeting on January 28, went in front in the 13th minute through striker Adebayor.
The visitors looked set to win in 90 minutes but Bolton equalised in injury time through defender Abdoulaye Meite.
Arsenal were guilty of two glaring misses in normal time.
Captain Gilberto Silva shot a 64th-minute penalty over the bar while Adebayor hit the post with the goal at his mercy.
Baptista also fired a penalty over at the end of extra time.
Bolton struck the woodwork twice, through Stelios Giannakopoulos in the first half and captain Kevin Nolan in extra time.
