English club Scunthorpe United has signed New Zealand soccer international Dave Mulligan from Doncaster Rovers.
Mulligan, 24, who has won eight international caps for the All Whites, has agreed a two-year contract with the League One club.
"He is very versatile. There were a number of clubs trying to sign him," Scunthorpe manager Brian Laws told the club's website.
"He is two-footed, has great delivery from set pieces and can get a goal as well.
"He's a player we've had watched on a number of occasions, so we know what we are getting."
Mulligan is presently with the All Whites in Switzerland as they prepare to end a four-match tour of Europe with an international against Brazil in Geneva on Monday morning (NZ time).
