The eleven New Zealand players who will step onto the pitch for the game of their lives against Brazil tomorrow morning are now known.
All Whites coach Ricki Herbert today named his team to play at Stade Geneva, in Switzerland, early tomorrow NZ time.
He has reverted to a 4-4-2 format and there are no real surprises in the line-up. Glenn Moss is back in goal, and all of the All Whites most experienced players are included.
Herbert said striker Vaughan Coveny had given the team a scare when he turned his ankle during training but had come through light training at Stade Geneva well.
Brazil are expected to name a strong side featuring some of the world's best players, including Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
All Whites:
Goalkeeper: Glen Moss (unattached).
Defenders: Noah Hickey (New Zealand Knights), Danny Hay (captain, unattached), Steven Old (St Johns University/USA), Kris Bouckenooghe (KSV Roeselare/Belgium).
Midfielders: David Mulligan (Doncaster), Ivan Vicelich (RKC Waldwick), Jeremy Christie (Perth Glory), Leo Bertos (Perth Glory).
Strikers: Vaughan Coveny (South Melbourne), Chris Killen (Hibernian).
