All Whites coach Ricki Herbert will leave on Wednesday to spend 10 days shadowing Charlton manager Alan Curbishley. Herbert will arrive in London in time to watch Charlton and Curbishley in action against both Bolton and Blackburn, when he will also catch up with All Whites skipper Ryan Nelsen.
Herbert is relishing the chance to pick the brain of another top coach after he spent three days with England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson.
New Zealand Soccer is still hopeful of confirming games against both Charlton, who the New Zealand Knights have a relationship with, and Blackburn next English summer.
