LONDON (AP) Former Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins is looking to capitalize on his global profile by teaming up with the management company run by "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller.
Wiggins, who won the Tour in 2012 and was subsequently knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, has signed a partnership with Fuller's XIX Entertainment.
Wiggins says he is looking for Fuller to "create new possibilities" for him, adding there's "much to accomplish, both personally and for cycling as a whole."
XIX Entertainment says in a statement that the British rider has been "central to the resurgence of cycling in recent years."
Wiggins is also a four-time Olympic cycling champion.
