Sarah Walker has cycled through blood to cap off a successful weekend of BMX racing in Argentina.
The 2012 Olympic Silver medallist has backed up yesterday's third-placed finish – her first podium at a World Cup event in seven years – with an eighth at the final World Cup event of the year this morning.
"I'm super stoked to have been in the final [today] after being on the podium yesterday, very happy with how I'm performing," Walker told Radio Sport.
Walker says she raced within herself in today's final having seen a nasty crash unfold earlier in the day.
"There was a big crash in the quarter-final before me where they were washing [and] scrubbing blood [from someone's nose] off the track with a broom."
