England batsman Marcus Trescothick has revealed the extent to which Australia are intimidating his team in the one-sided Ashes test series. "I don't want to sound defeatist," he said in a newspaper column during the second test at Lord's, which Australia won by eight wickets to go 2-0 up in the five-match series. "But there have been occasions this summer when I have felt that Steve Waugh's team are playing the game at a different level to us or, for that matter, anyone else on the planet."
