Conor McGregor has addressed his defeat by Floyd Mayweather and stated he would be victorious if the two were to have a rematch.
McGregor surpassed expectations on his boxing debut against the undefeated icon but ultimately came up short, losing via 10th round TKO when the two met in Las Vegas back in August.
And whilst the UFC star has no intention of calling out the now retired boxer, he insists things would be different should Mayweather be interested in running it back.
"If I had a rematch I would correct it and I would beat him,' McGregor said as he promoted his new movie 'Notorious'. "He's retired. I'm not going to start calling him out of retirement. I'm gonna leave him to it. If it happens, maybe it will, who knows. I would beat him.
"We haven't spoken (since the fight). I respect what he's done. 50-0. After the fight, I'm never that type of bitter person, I accept it and just let him be. Maybe though, who knows, we'll see."
