Aucklander Stephen Clifton has made history winning the bronze medal in the men's compound division at the world archery championships in Korea. In the semifinals Clifton was up against the number one seed and former world champion Reo Wilde (US), who shot 10-10-10 to Clifton's 9-9-10. Clifton's final three arrow score of 10-10-10 set him up for the bronze medal match against Duo of Spain which he won 117-114.
