Landowners in the Lake Rotorua catchment are invited to find out about how the Bay of Plenty Regional Council plans to improve lake water quality.
The regional council and the Lake Rotorua Stakeholder Group are hosting public meetings and open days for interested parties to find out about the development of rules and incentives aimed at reducing nutrient loss.
These sessions will keep landowners who will be affected by the rules and incentives informed of progress.
The rules and incentives will be part of the Rotorua Te Arawa Lakes Programme and will set nitrogen limits for landowners.
"We would encourage all landowners to come along to hear what's happening," said Warwick Murray, natural resource operations manager.
