Due to the growth of used vehicle operations and recent dealership expansions across three of our yards, Hawkes Bay Toyota has an exciting new role for a Used Car Buyer. The role covers both buying and management with the ability to grow a used vehicle operation across four branches.
Based in Hawkes Bay the Used Vehicle Buyer will be responsible for;
•Developing relationships through multiple sources to procure stock
•Purchase stock that will grow volume and profitability
•Evaluating and purchasing vehicles
•Streamlining vehicle reconditioning process within Hawkes Bay
•Assisting the Branch Manager's and CEO in managing stock mix
•Management and disposal of aged stock
The ideal candidate will have sound used vehicle experience at retail level preferably within a franchise environment. They must have the ability to work well with internal stakeholders in the used car operation and have the skills to procure stock from outside the company's current contacts and outside the region. Frequent travel from Hawkes Bay will be required.
