A teenager who threatened to post intimate pictures of his former girlfriend on the internet has had a six-month jail term quashed by the Court of Appeal and been sentenced to 200 hours' community work instead.
Cory Daniel Thomas, 18, was charged with blackmail after he threatened the 16-year-old when she refused to pay him $600 for traffic fines amassed driving her around.
