A Taupo man has denied all charges relating to a teenage mother being hit by a car.
Dale Eriapa Te Koari Conway, 19, appeared in the Rotorua District Court this morning before a registrar.
He pleaded not guilty through his lawyer to charges of driving with excess breath alcohol, driving while suspended and careless driving causing injury.
The charges are in connection to an incident in November last year, where a 17-year-old girl was found on the side of the road with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle on State Highway 33 at Okere Falls.
She was flown to Waikato Hospital for surgery.
