A burglar caught creeping through quake-rattled homes has been jailed - again.
Patricia Aldridge, 46, has racked up more than 170 convictions for burglary, armed robbery and even escaping from prison and has spent the past 30 years in and out of jail.
When she was paroled from a Christchurch prison this year she began a night-time assault on 10 homes in St Albans and the central city between May 14 and May 25.
Judge David Saunders jailed her for three years and nine months.
