Two men accused over the shooting of a 55-year-old man on a Wellington beach early yesterday have appeared in court today.
The men were granted interim name suppression when they appeared in front of a Justice of the Peace at the Wellington District Court.
They were charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to Wellington man Tulo Tuala.
The men did not enter a plea and were remanded in custody until their next appearance next month.
The pair were arrested when they drove into a police cordon set up at Karori after the early morning shooting at Makara Beach.
