TV3 presenter Carol Hirschfeld will return to reading the 6 pm news on Monday after six weeks' maternity leave.
Hirschfeld read her last bulletin on March 9 before taking a break to have her second child, Rosa Isabella - a sister for 6-year-old Will.
The simultaneous absences of Hirschfeld and presenter Carolyn Ryan - now Carolyn Robinson - has seen duties shuffled among TV3's presenters.
Weekend newsreader Hilary Barry has been filling Hirschfeld's shoes during the week and Wendy Petrie has been presenting Nightline in Robinson's place.
Robinson, who has been reading weekend bulletins and reporting since returning from her honeymoon on March 24, will return to her regular spot as Nightline presenter on Monday. Robinson said she enjoyed the change of responsibilities but was looking forward to returning to Nightline.
