There are 40 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in New Zealand today. Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield told reporters there were also three new probable cases. There were 155 cases of confirmed and probable cases, and he said the daily tally would now include probable cases.
Details and locations for the 40 new cases of Covid-19 have been published by the Ministry of Health.
The new cases, and 13 probable cases, take our total number to 155.
Six people are in hospital, and 12 people have recovered.
A woman aged in her 80s in Nelson is the oldest person on the full list.
