A man has admitted to bringing videos of children performing sex acts into New Zealand on his two iPads after returning home from a holiday in Fiji.
The man, who has interim name suppression, pleaded guilty to eight charges of importing and exporting objectionable publications to and from New Zealand near the end of last month.
In the Napier District Court today, he also admitted another two charges of making intimate visual recordings.
According to a summary of facts, the 42-year-old left for Fiji on January 25 and returned again five days later.
When he arrived at Auckland International Airport, Customs, who have brought eight of the charges against the man, searched the man's luggage.
