Radio host and musician Andrew Fagan has been convicted and fined for riding a motorbike at more than twice the legal alcohol limit.
Fagan appeared in Waitakere District Court this morning and pleaded guilty to a charge of driving with excess breath alcohol.
Police prosecutor Stewart King said Fagan was seen driving in excess of the speed limit on a Suzuki motorcycle on Titirangi Rd on August 1.
"The defendant appeared to be unbalanced as he struggled to put his motorcycle on a stand after being stopped by police," he said.
Fagan was breath tested and showed a breath alcohol reading of 841mcg per litre of breath, more than double the legal limit of 400mcg.
