High flying careers in Hawke's Bay
Hawke's Bay Airport Limited is proud to be the region's gateway connecting Hawke's Bay people to the world and the people of the world to Hawke's Bay. Our mission is to provide quality facilities for our customers, to position our business for growth, to support regional economic development and to generate appropriate returns on our assets and on our shareholders' investment in the Airport Company.
Experiencing unprecedented growth in our airport operations and passenger numbers over the past 12 months, and with very realistic aspirations for sustained growth in the years ahead, two new and exciting roles have been created in our Executive Team to help us realise our potential. Both roles report directly to the Chief Executive.
Infrastructure Manager
More than 566,000 passengers transited through our Airport during our most recent financial year, representing an increase of 90,000 passengers or 19% growth over the previous year and enabling us to exceed half a million passenger movements over a 12-month period for the first time. This significant increase in aircraft and passenger movements, coupled with the development of our business park, has placed significant demands on our infrastructure. In response, we have plans for multi-million-dollar capital expenditure to ensure we have facilities in place to support our growth, improve our customer experience and ensure Hawke's Bay Airport remains a welcoming gateway to the region.
Requiring exceptional project management capability, the purpose of this newly established role is:
• To successfully manage designated strategic infrastructure projects ensuring our customer experience and airport operations are not compromised during a period of
significant change; and
• To develop, execute and review asset management plans (short and long term) that
deliver to agreed levels of service and enable the Airport to achieve its strategic
objectives.
Ideally, as a candidate for this exciting opportunity you will have a minimum of 5-7 years' relevant experience in infrastructure management, construction, property development and/or asset management.
A track record of delivering projects in a dynamic environment, in a cost effective and timely manner will be highly regarded, together with proven ability to achieve objectives in a customer-focused, commercial environment. Candidates will have a working knowledge and experience of Health & Safety and the identification and management of risk.
You will also have attained a tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, project management, property development or a related discipline.
Commercial Manager
Requiring a financially savvy person with outstanding business development capability, the Commercial Manager will contribute to the Organisation's success through the development and delivery on commercial, new business and customer engagement strategies, unlocking the value of our 20 Ha
business park and promoting the Airport as a welcoming gateway to Hawke's Bay.
The successful applicant in this role will have primary responsibilities for:
• Overseeing the development and management of innovative commercial business
solutions in line with our business targets and requirements.
• Generating new business in the airline and commercial property markets by

solutions, closing deals and maintaining effective working relationships with new
contacts
• Promoting Hawkes Bay Airport Limited and expanding its market share through
marketplace analysis, product and brand development and sales management
• Developing and executing client management strategies.

to achieve objectives in a customer-focused, commercial environment
• Proven ability to develop and implement a new business strategy
• Knowledge and experience of marketing management including communications, market research and e-commerce
