Another day
Robert David Muldoon was born in Auckland in 1921. He studied accountancy, took the Tamaki seat for National in 1960, and was Prime Minister from 1975 until 1984. His policies, including the Think Big projects, and his sometimes abrasive personality, polarised his constituency - and the nation. Sir Robert Muldoon retired from politics in 1991, and died in 1992.
