Hollywood is paying tribute to one of the most enduring legends in movie history, the Japanese monster lizard Godzilla.
The 50m, atomic-powered creature is getting a star on Hollywood's fabled Walk of Fame just hours before his latest, and some say final, appearance at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in a red-carpet event.
Final Wars is the first of the 29 Godzilla films to open outside Japan and will be the last in a series that began in November 1954.
"Shogo Tomiyama, the producer, and the staff of the movie are doing their best to make this the best movie because it's the final movie," said Tsutomu Kitagawa, who has been inside the Godzilla suit for five of the last six Japanese-produced films.
