KEY POINTS:
A depositions date has been set to outline the prosecution case against a Western Bay of Plenty woman charged with the murder of a toddler.
Lawyer Bridie Henderson told Judge Patrick Treston in Tauranga District Court today that evidence would be given in hand-up statements on October 18.
The woman, who has interim name suppression, was remanded until then on existing bail. Her presence was excused at today's call-over.
Aged in her mid-30s, the accused allegedly killed the 14-month-old girl in early January last year.
The case has been called a number of times but delayed while defence counsel sought expert medical opinion considered critical to the outcome.
There are more than 2000 pages of disclosure from the Crown.
