McDonald's workers have been left shaken after an enraged customer threatened to shoot drive-thru staff if they didn't give him free food.
The man approached the Stoddard Rd, Mt Roskill, McDonald's in the early hours of September 30 and demanded free food, telling staff to make it look like the food had been paid for.
When staff said no, he began to rage, allegedly threatening to shoot employees.
"The offender then began reaching into the rear of the vehicle which caused the two workers to fear for their safety," Constable Don Allan told Fairfax.
The McDonald's workers swiftly gave the man several bags of food before he drove away.
