Bay of Plenty police have named the two Tauranga men who died in a crash between a milk tanker and two other vehicles at Tauriko.
They were Clayton Neville Woodward, aged 28, and 38-year-old Vincent Greg Hyland.
The two men were killed and four others seriously injured when the tanker rolled on state highway 29, and hit two oncoming four-wheel-drive vehicles last night.
At least three of the survivors remain in intensive care at Tauranga Hospital. Debris from the crash was spread over 200 metres.
One of the vehicles also sheered off a concrete power pole, bringing down high-tension lines and sparking a fire in a nearby hedgerow.
