The Government's Transport Agency is waiting until next week before disclosing whether it will allow walking and cycling links on Auckland Harbour Bridge to become a formal proposal.
Although its board met yesterday to consider whether to add that and other projects to a three-year state highway programme, acting northern regional manager Tommy Parker said it was not ready to announce any resolutions until Monday.
