Three people have been arrested after the Armed Offenders Squad were called out to a supermarket in Palmerston North where threats were made towards a customer.
Police said details on the threat were still being established, but the Armed Offenders Squad was called out to a supermarket on Main Street and cordoned off the area.
By the time the cordon was set up the offender had already fled to an address on Church St.
Police then attended that address where they put cordons in place, which have since been lifted.
Three people are now in police custody.
