KEY POINTS:
Team New Zealand will soon receive a giant postcard of support from well-wishers up and down the country.
Pieces of the 372-piece jigsaw postcard were signed in Wellington yesterday by Prime Minister Helen Clark and Sports Minister Trevor Mallard.
The 114sqm postcard's final pieces were in Parliament until today for MPs and staff to sign before they are shipped out to Valencia, Spain, to adorn a wall at the team's America's Cup headquarters.
Helen Clark was optimistic the Emirates-sponsored syndicate could "bring it home" - which was the message she wrote on a piece of the jigsaw.
The Prime Minister will visit Team NZ at the start of the Louis Vuitton Challenger series, which runs from April to June, after a trip to Egypt to open New Zealand's new embassy in Cairo.
New Zealand Post chief executive John Allen said postcard pieces had been in post shops around the country and people had been queuing for the opportunity to sign them.
