The girls have taken out the first gamefish pins of the season for Houhora Big Game and Sportsfishing Club. Donna Pascoe aboard Gladiator tagged and released a striped marlin on Saturday morning in the Bay of Islands, and Ashley Bellingham (pictured), fishing from Great Vintage, landed a striped marlin weighing 136.8kg on Saturday afternoon off Doubtless Bay. The latest catch was Leighton Matthews, who was expected to weigh in a marlin at 4.30pm on Monday afternoon.
