Totalspan Far North owner/operators Yvonne and Andrew Eason at this year's awards, with Spanbild NZ owner Bill Gee.

Yvonne and Andrew Eason bought Totalspan Far North in 2012, and the following year won their first franchise award. They have gone on to win at least one award every year since, and 2017 is no exception.

Earlier this month they were in Melbourne for the annual Totalspan conference, where they added the presentation excellence award to their collection, and were runner-up in customer excellence, strategic excellence and Franchise of the Year.

"We are extremely proud to have shown that we here in Kaitaia can hold our own against the larger towns and cities in the Totalspan franchise network," Mrs Eason said.

There are 29 owner-operated Totalspan franchises around the country, which each year compete in five award categories, judged by head office, on the basis of client satisfaction, presentation of display/branding/vehicles/uniforms, strategic excellence within the business, marketing, sales and more.

The Kaitaia franchise began its run with the operational excellence awards in 2013 and 2014, followed by the customer excellence and Habitable Building of the Year awards in 2015, and runner-up in customer excellence last year.

"We would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all the great clients we have been lucky enough to supply Totalspan buildings to, and also to our great team of sub-contractor builders and sub-trades," Mrs Eason added.

"Without them all we wouldn't be able to bring these awards home to Kaitaia."
