Anna Booth's photo of Ollie and Charlie having the time of their lives in a creek on 90 Mile Beach was one of the first received for this summer's Northland Age/Folders photo competition, and it was the winner, by a very narrow margin.

Runner-up (in a poll of Northland Age and Printing.com staff) was Beverly Thompson's silhouette of Jessie Steed and Katie Thompson at Rangiputa, followed just as closely by Holly Urlich's pic of Alex Mae almost flying at Ahipara.

Anna's prize includes a Canon EOS1300D twin lens kit worth $1199, with the total package valued at almost $1600.
