More than 130 people and at least 30 dogs took part in Saturday's SPCA Lake Ngatu fundraising walk.
Now in its third year the event, which coincides with the SPCA's annual Paws Appeal Week, was a big success, organiser and SPCA fundraiser Vannesa Sucich-Coupland said.

Ms Sucich-Coupland said the event, with people walking or running the 4.2km around the lake - some doing it more than once - was a great way to get the community together to take part in a fun event while also raising money for a good cause.
