Security concerns that have prompted the cancellation of 58 Anzac Day services in the Auckland region do not appear to apply in the Far North.
The Kaitaia (Far North) RSA will stage its traditional dawn service at the town's cenotaph, and Te Hiku Community Board is once again organising an 11am civic service at Te Ahu.
Mayor John Carter said that was the only Far North service that was not organised by the RSA, but he was unaware of any police concerns regarding security.
Conversely, there will be few commemorations in West Auckland, Helensville RSA president Les Coste saying services had been scrapped over fears of counter-actions to the March 15 Christchurch terrorist attacks.
All West Auckland RSAs had cancelled their services thanks to government declarations that only selected sites were suitable.
