MOUNTAIN MEN: Married Men (in the blue strip) continued their traditional domination over their Singles counterparts which has stood for the past decade or so after winning the Okaihau Rugby Club's annual end-of-season social match by five tries to two on Saturday. Mid North photojournalist Debbie Beadle, there to check on proceedings, was unable to resist noting the Married Men had an obvious weight advantage. 'There was a lot of heckling between fathers and sons in the rain on a very wet field. I am pleased I am not the one cleaning the jerseys,' she said, noting the game was followed by the club's junior and senior prizegiving.
