You are needed

Government wants settlement and to pay out for past wrongs to Ngapuhi. Money can never compensate for their losses, but it's the best that can be done.

We have a Minister of Finance who says that creating employment isn't a job for government. He would have fitted into the House of Commons in the 1820s well! He is in outdated ultra-conservative in La La Land today.

No doubt there are other retired old teachers with memories of brilliant Maori pupils who were in their classes. Where are you? Time for you to step up and replace some of your old leaders who seem to be unable to sort things.

Come on old pupils who have become accountants, lawyers and successful professional and trades people, and caring parents. You are needed. The whole North needs you.
