Anti-semitic talk

I see in Tuesday's Age, July 19, that your cartoonist, Malcolm Evans, is once again on his anti-semitic bike.

If he took the time to research the legitimacy of Israel's borders, he would discover that the original League of Nations mandate gave Israel the territory from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

This mandate is still legally binding and has not been negated by the UN General Assembly Resolution 181 nor the UN Security Council Resolution

242 at the conclusion of the 1967 Six-day War.

The authority of the original mandate set in 1921, setting out the borders of Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, are still legally binding.

Strangely enough, even the Quaran in verse 104 of Chapter 17 mentions how the children of Israel will be brought back to their Promised Land.

The original 'Promised Land' included all the land that Israel currently possesses, plus all the land of the Palestinians, (West Bank and Gaza), plus some of Egypt and Syria, plus all of Jordan, plus some of Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
