Engineering an elite
The introduction of cheaper regos and no six-monthly warrants for new cars is, I believe, just another example of governments and huge multinational corporations engineering an elite society for the rich paid for by the majority.
Other examples are the removal of our city councils by merging them into super cities so they can manipulate them behind closed doors and closed meetings with toothless committees that do not know what's happening until it's too late, the introduction of expensive tolls in CBDs etc so only the rich can afford to use the roads (London etc), VIP classes on transport so they don't have to queue or sit with ordinary people but still need (cattle classes) to make them financially viable.
The very word VIP to me is morally and ethically wrong, because what makes a person a VIP? The fact that they have more money than the person next to them? I don't think so! A VIP to me is someone who is honest, has good character, integrity and has done good in the community etc.
However history has shown us that these regimes governments etc don't last forever, as the multitudes eventually have enough and rise up against them with catastrophic consequences for them and their cronies. I only hope I am around to see it.
