The Doubtless Bay Croquet Club reported The Little Kitchen Tournament last Friday was well supported where, in ideal conditions, some of the most talented players in the province were in action showing off their skills with some long range croquet strokes and accurate jump shots.

Refreshments and prizegiving commenced from 3pm, where the sponsor's representative was welcomed and thanked for her company's support before being asked to hand out the prizes to the top placegetters.
Results were, association croquet: Joy Dawson (Doubtless Bay) 3 wins, 1; golf croquet juniors: Murray Shaw (Doubtless Bay) 1, Bryan Cole and Brian Bridge (Doubtless Bay) 2=, Lesley Law (Kerikeri) 3; and, golf croquet seniors: Margaret Adlam (Kensington) 1, Chris Lancaster (Kerikeri) 2, Kevin Hall (Kerikeri) 3.
