CUTE: Kaitaia's spring baby photo competition Section 1 and overall winner Zariah Windleborn with mum Renee (centre), after Friday afternoon's prize-giving.

Food always proved very successful at garnering votes for Kaitaia's Daffodil Day baby
photo competition.

It did so again for the spring baby photo competition that ended last week.

Zariah Windleborn won Section 1, and overall, by a handsome margin, her mum Renee
saying the $1,102 raised had largely been
earned by selling hangi and cupcakes.

The competition, organised at relatively short notice by Bubba's Baby Store proprietor
Krystal-Rose Taaffe and her staff, raised $6,807 for Far North Hospice.

Section 1 _ Zariah Windleborn ($1,102) 1, Khloe Hokai ($300) 2, Paige Harris ($293) 3.

Section 2 _ Paige Lilly ($384) 1, Ryan Ellis ($350) 2, Alyssa Broughton ($325)3.

Section 3 _ Jackson Rogers ($645) 1, Te Kiri Rogers ($420) 2, Kaydee Attwood ($419) 3.
