The Warehouse and Plunket have joined forces to organise a major health and well-being event in Kaitaia next week.
Connecting Communities, outside The Warehouse on Thursday (October 6), 10am to 3pm, will bring together health providers from around the region to raise awareness of the services available to support the health and well-being of families, with a variety of activities for all ages.
Carolyn Mettrick, acting chief funding and marketing officer for Plunket, said it was an exciting initiative.
"Plunket is very proud of its long tradition of working closely with other services to make sure families are well-supported and connected within their communities, and this is a great way to gather everyone together, have some fun, and find out more about who can help them if and when they need it," she said.
The Warehouse executive general manager of community and environment, Paul Walsh, said the day would provide a great reason to get the whanau together.
