YACHTING - Battle on the water

More than 100 sailors are battling it out on the waters of Parua Bay in the national secondary school teams' racing championships this week.
The teams consist of up to eight sailors and come from 23 schools around the country as well as a team from the Cook Islands.
One of the Whangarei-based organisers Mike Wright said the competition is one of the most established school-based sailing competitions in the country.
