Bream Bay swimmers have continued performing at the State New Zealand Division 2 swimming competition in Invercargill, and as a result have extended their lead in the team's competition.
Northland's Kieran Swords added another gold to his growing medal tally, having seven in total, as the Bream Bay swim team recorded six gold medals from the third day of racing.
Medals went to Swords, 13-year-old Turanga Morgan-Edmonds, Dylan Sims, Emma Wickham and Elijah Purnell.
Overall Bream Bay lead the competition on 910 points, ahead of Jasi Swim Club (Christchurch) on 821, Wharenui (Christchurch) 510, Ace (Hamilton) 472 and North Canterbury 451.
The competition finishes tomorrow.
