History was rewritten recently at Taipa Raceway when eight lap records were set during the Taipa Stock and Saloon Car Club time trials.
Roy "Inchman" Walker set the new fastest lap time across all grades at the May meeting in a spectacular 13.18 seconds.
Pip Jecentho also recorded a worthy 13.78-second lap in his new B-grade Nissan.
The track was in superb condition and fine weather was welcomed by a large turnout in all grades of the saloons and stockcars.
Raced over three rounds, the men's B-grade club champs was won by Jecentho after tight racing with Dave Clements.
Keith Wilson and Walker battled for supremacy in the men's Limiteds while Bryan Armstrong and Geordie Inglis vied for victory in the men's Supers.
The men's Stockcars was won by Ryan Carey who emerged with two wins after being challenged by Ray Dare, Rob Anderson, Robbo Teixeira, Mel Turner, Marty Lorenz and Cedric Tomars.
Meanwhile, Sue Shepherd had two great wins in the ladies' division.
Hayden Schulze pushed hard and found the gaps for two wins in men's C-grade, while Sheryl De Waal and Kayne Tatnell battled for wins in the ladies' section.
It was very close racing in the juniors - won by Daniel De Waal, while Bruce Mallindine was too quick in the men's production division.
Carole Teixeira held off Shirley Andresen's challenge to win the ladies' production division.
Mallindine completed a great day by winning the Taipa "all-in" final race of the day.
Taipa Stock and Saloon Car Club's next meeting is on May 17 at noon.
