An exhibition match between New Zealand's two top squash players planned for Whangarei tomorrow has been cancelled due to injury.
Martin Knight and Campbell Grayson, who play on the local and international circuit, were to hand out tips to young Northlanders before battling it out on court at the Whangarei squash club, Tarewa Rd, tomorrow night.
However, Squash Northland administrator Sharon Crawford said Knight picked up an injury and the event has to be cancelled, though it's hoped it can be rescheduled for later in the year.
Ms Crawford said it was unfortunate the event had to be put off as it was a real opportunity for players and enthusiasts to watch the game at an elite level.
